The Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary are said on Saturdays. The Joyful Mysteries consist of five events in the life of Jesus and Mary, which are:

1. The Annunciation: Angel Gabriel tells Mary she will conceive the child Jesus.
2. The Visitation: Mary visits her cousin Elizabeth.
3. The Birth of Jesus: Jesus is born in Bethlehem.
4. The Presentation of Jesus at the Temple: Mary and Joseph present Jesus at the Temple.
5. The Finding of Jesus in the Temple: Jesus is found in the Temple after being lost for three days.

These mysteries are traditionally prayed on Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays of Advent.
