Niall Horan is Irish. He was born on September 13, 1993, in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. Horan became interested in music at a young age and started playing the guitar when he was about twelve. He rose to prominence as a member of the boy band One Direction, formed in 2010 on the singing competition The X Factor. After the bands hiatus in 2016, Horan signed a recording deal as a solo artist with Capitol Records and has since released three albums.
