The Brookings Institution reports that the white population share declined by 8.6% since 2010, and the non-Hispanic white share of the US population fell from 64% in 2010 to 58% in 2020. The same source also reports that the white population share declined nearly nine more percentage points, to 60.1% by 2019. Therefore, the percentage of the US population that is white varies depending on the source and the year, but it is currently estimated to be around 60-75%.
