Ryanair uses a variety of planes, but the majority of their fleet consists of Boeing 737s. As of October 2023, Ryanair has a fleet of 298 aircraft, with plans to expand to 565 aircraft for summer 2023. The breakdown of their current fleet is as follows:
- 29 x Airbus A320-200s (in service with the subsidiary Lauda Air)
- 1 x Boeing 737-700
- 89 x Boeing 737 MAX 8-200s
- 401 x Boeing 737-800s
Ryanair has also ordered 210 new Boeing 737-8200 Gamechanger aircraft, with plans to receive a further 300 new Boeing 737-MAX 10 aircraft by 2034. The new aircraft are designed to be more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly, with more seats and less noise emissions.
