To find out what platform your train is departing from, you can use the following methods:
-
Arrival and departure board: Look for your train number on the arrival and departure board (large screens) that are located directly at the train station. On such displays, you can easily find your train by its number and see the departure time as well as the platform number.
-
Online platform locator: Use an online platform locator feature, such as the one provided by ixigo, which enables rail passengers to check in advance the platform on which their train is scheduled to arrive. You just need to enter the train name or number.
-
Trainline: Check live times and platform information before boarding by viewing live train status and departure information boards for all UK train stations with Trainline.
-
Amtrak: Visit Amtrak.com to learn the real-time status of a train. Click “Train Status” on the top bar of the homepage and enter a few key pieces of information.
-
Real Time Trains: Use Real Time Trains to find out the platform your train departs from before its shown on the boards. Real Time Trains shows all of it rather than just what National Rail and all other train apps get their information from.
-
Train Tracker: Use Train Tracker provided by Metrolink to view your next trains current location, estimated time of arrival, and destination in our Train Tracker with Real Time Train Map information.
Please note that platform numbers are subject to change at any time without notice, so its always a good idea to double-check the information before boarding.
