Dittos disguises change from time to time, so its important to stay up to date with the current disguises if youre trying to catch one. Its worth noting that if you encounter a shiny Pokémon that can be a Ditto, it will never be a Ditto. The only way to find out if a Pokémon is actually a Ditto is by catching it. If it is a Ditto, there will be an animation revealing it upon capture.
