According to the search results, El Chapo Guzman is currently imprisoned at the Administrative Maximum U.S. Penitentiary (ADX) in Florence, Colorado, which is considered to be escape-proof. The prison is also known as the Alcatraz of the Rockies and is home to some of the nations most notorious offenders, including Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols, and 1993 World Trade Center bomber Ramzi Yousef. El Chapo was sentenced to life plus 30 years in prison and arrived at ADX in July 2019. He is in isolation with limited privileges and is on permanent lockdown for 23 hours a day. El Chapo has written letters from prison, including one in which he claims he is being mistreated because of escape fears. However, he has not escaped from ADX so far.
