The Quran mentions the Children of Israel many times, and a major portion of the Quran consists of the story of Moses and the Children of Israel. The Quran recognizes the Land of Israel as the heritage of the Jews and explains that, before the Last Judgment, Jews will return to dwell there. The Quran also mentions the covenant between Allah and the Children of Israel and reminds them of the favors bestowed upon them. However, some Muslims have a tendency to regard all Jews as inherently “bad,” and often they will refer to the Quran to prove this point of view. The Quran does not say that all Jews are bad, but it does mention the crimes and trials of Banu Israel. The Quran also warns the Children of Israel not to cause corruption in the land twice and become extremely arrogant.
