Urdaneta is a city in the province of Pangasinan, which is located in the Ilocos Region of Luzon, Philippines. It is a landlocked component city with a population of 144,577 people according to the 2020 census. Urdaneta was organized into a pueblo on January 8, 1858, and became a city on March 21, 1998. It has a total land area of 100.26 km² and is situated at an elevation of 50 m (160 ft) above sea level. Urdaneta is part of the 5th district of Pangasinan and has 34 barangays.
