Kat Von D, the tattoo artist and musician, was recently baptized in the Christian faith. She renounced witchcraft and the macabre in 2022 and shared a photo of the various items she was parting ways with, including texts on witchcraft and boxes of tarot cards. In October 2023, she posted a 12-minute-long video about her baptism to Instagram, saying that the ceremony was a "public demonstration" of her faith to show that shes "not ashamed". She also briefly discussed her current stance on faith and explained why she chose to share a video of the ceremony. Kat Von D has described her familys religion as "Christianity, with a few Jewish traits". Although she has shared snippets of her religious journey, she has also said that she wont become "the poster child for Christianity".
