The species of Yoda and Grogu has not been officially named in the Star Wars canon. They are simply referred to as "Yodas species". There are only three known members of this species in the Star Wars universe: Yoda, Yaddle, and Grogu. All three are powerful in the Force, and Grogu is the youngest known member of the species at 50 years old. The species is known to live much longer than most other species, but it is uncertain exactly how their age shows. It is also unknown where Yodas species comes from.
