Talladega is a city located in east-central Alabama, United States, and is the county seat of Talladega County. It is approximately 50 miles (80 km) east of Birmingham. The city is located at 33° 26′ 5″ N, 86° 6′ 5″ W (33.434722 N, -86.101389 W) . Alabama State Routes 21, 77, and 275 are the main routes through the city. Talladega is also home to the Talladega Superspeedway, a motorsports complex located in Lincoln, Alabama, north of Talladega. The track is 40 miles east of Birmingham, Alabama, at Exit 168 and 95 miles west of Atlanta, Georgia.
