  • Florida: Florida is home to 1.3 million alligators.
  • Texas: Texas has around 400,000-500,000 alligators.
  • Georgia: Georgia has 200,000-250,000 alligators.
  • South Carolina: South Carolina has 100,000 alligators.
  • Alabama: Alabama has 70,000 alligators.
  • Mississippi: Mississippi has 32,000-38,000 alligators.
  • Arkansas: Arkansas has 2,000-3,000 alligators.
  • North Carolina: North Carolina has 1,000 alligators.
  • Oklahoma: Oklahoma has 100-200 alligators.

It is worth noting that alligators are cold-blooded and live in warm areas.
