As of October 2023, the following states have legalized marijuana in some form:

• Fully Legal: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington.
• Mixed: Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Virginia. In these states, marijuana may be legal for medical use, decriminalized, or have limited legalization.
• Fully Illegal: Idaho, Kansas, and South Dakota.

Its important to note that even though marijuana may be legal in some states, it is still illegal under federal law. Possessing, growing, transporting, and distributing marijuana is a federal felony.
