There are several Surahs in the Quran that can be recited on Friday, but the most recommended ones are Surah Al-Kahf and Surah Al-Jumuah. Surah Al-Kahf is known for its many benefits, while Surah Al-Jumu’ah talks about the importance of Jummah and the blessings that come with it. In addition to these Surahs, it is also recommended to recite Surah Al-Fatihah and Surah Al-Ikhlas on Friday. According to a narration from the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the one who reads Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays will find his entire week enlightened until the next Friday. Another narration states that the one who recites Surah Al-Kahf and memorizes it will be safe from the Dajjal and will have his sins forgiven from one Friday to the next. Similarly, the person who reads Surah Al-Jumu’ah on Friday will be granted a special light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next. It is also recommended to recite Surah Dhukaan on the night of Jummah or on the day of Jummah.
