Sean Payton is currently coaching the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL) . He was named the 20th head coach in franchise history on February 3, 2023, and entered his first season with the team in 2023. Prior to coaching the Broncos, Payton served as the head coach of the New Orleans Saints from 2006 to 2021, leading the franchise to its first Super Bowl victory during the 2009 season.
