As of October 14, 2023, the Rugby World Cup is ongoing and the quarterfinals have not yet been completed. However, three teams have already qualified for the quarterfinals: New Zealand, Wales, and England. The other teams that are still in the running for the quarterfinals are:

• Pool B: South Africa, Ireland, Scotland
• Pool C: Australia, Fiji
• Pool D: Argentina

It is worth noting that the Rugby World Cup has a qualification pathway, and teams from across Africa, Asia/Pacific, the Americas, and Europe have contested the Final Qualification Tournament.
