"What the Peeper Saw" is a 1972 thriller film directed by James Kelley and Andrea Bianchi and starring Mark Lester, Britt Ekland, Hardy Krüger, and Lilli Palmer. The plot revolves around a beautiful woman who begins to suspect that her angelic-looking stepson murdered his real mother, then fears that the disturbed child may have similarly sinister plans for her. Mark Lester plays the role of Marcus, the disturbed child, and does a wonderful job portraying the character. Britt Ekland plays the role of Elise, the stepmother, and portrays the dilemma of the character quite well. The film was released in Italy on October 14, 1972, and in West Germany on February 7, 1973.
