  • What characteristics and skills would a person need to be successful in this job?
  • What are some of the qualities that you think are important for someone to have in this role?
  • How can I best contribute to the teams success?

Remember to choose the questions that are most relevant to you, your interests, and the specific job ahead of time. Write them down and glance at them right before your interview so that theyre fresh in your mind. And, of course, be mindful of the interviewers time. If you were scheduled to talk for an hour and they turn to you with five minutes left, choose two or three questions that are most important to you. You will always have more time to ask questions once you have the job offer in hand.
