To have a smooth and successful SAT test day, you should bring the following items:
- Face covering
- Admission ticket (print it out)
- Acceptable photo ID
- Two No. 2 pencils with erasers
- An approved calculator with extra batteries
- Epinephrine auto-injectors (like EpiPens) are permitted without the need for accommodations. They must be placed in a clear bag and stored under the student’s desk during testing. For policies on other medications and medical devices, contact Services for Students with Disabilities.
- A watch (without an audible alarm)
- A bag or backpack
- A drink or snacks (for your break)
Its important to note that you should not bring the following items:
- Any devices that can access the internet, including smartwatches
- Any devices that can record, transmit, or receive audio, photographic, text, or video content (e.g., cameras, laptops, tablets, and so on)
- Highlighters, colored pens, colored pencils, or any other writing utensils besides No. 2 pencils
- Scratch paper, notes, or books
- Correction fluid or tape
- Compasses, rulers, protractors, or any other measurement devices
- Dictionaries or other books
- Food (except for a snack during breaks), drinks, or tobacco
- Backpacks or bags (except for a clear plastic bag containing your allowed items)
- Hats or hoods (except for religious apparel)
- Any other prohibited items listed in the SAT Test Day Checklist
Its also recommended to wear a t-shirt or other light top in case its hot, but bring something warm to throw on in case its cold in the testing room.
