• No meat: Do not feed your Venus flytrap meat.

• Dried blood worms: You can buy dried blood worms for your plant from your local pet store. Reconstituted dried worms, available as fish food, are a reliable and easy-to-obtain food for your plant. Check the label on the product to make sure there are no other additives. Add a few drops of water to some dried blood worms so that they get soft and meaty, then squeeze out before giving a blob about ⅓ of the size of the trap.

• Feeding frequency: Venus flytraps do not need to be fed often. If you keep your Venus flytrap outside in full sun, it will catch its own prey and feeding wont be an issue. If you choose to feed your Venus flytrap, do so sparingly, as overfeeding can cause the plant to waste energy and weaken over time.
