The two main countries that make up the Iberian Peninsula are Spain and Portugal. Additionally, small areas such as Andorra, a portion of France (the Pyrenees region), and the British territory of Gibraltar lie on or adjacent to the peninsula, but the two primary sovereign states occupying most of the land are Spain and Portugal.
