Marine One is the call sign for any United States Marine Corps helicopter carrying the President of the United States. The helicopters currently used by Marine One include the Sikorsky VH-3D Sea King and the VH-60N Blackhawk, but the newest helicopter model is the Sikorsky VH-92A Patriot, which became operational in 2024. The VH-92A is based on the Sikorsky S-92 and is equipped with advanced technology and security for presidential transport. The squadron operating these helicopters is Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1).
