There are currently six weapons available in Monster Hunter Now. These weapons are:

Sword and Shield: This is the default melee weapon in the game, and it balances offense and defense. It is versatile and allows for swift dodging and maneuvering to strike. Upgrading to Grade 2 unlocks the Special Skill Perfect Rush Combo for chaining hits.

Great Sword: This is a hard-hitting weapon that deals massive damage. It is slow but powerful, and it is unlocked after reaching Chapter 2 in the main story quest.

Bow: This weapon allows for medium-range attacks and increased damage range. Holding down on the screen charges the attack and increases the damage dealt. It is unlocked after reaching Chapter 3 in the main story quest.

Hammer: This is a blunt force weapon that deals heavy damage. It is a slow weapon but can deal significant damage when it connects. The charge attack involves running at the monster before taking several intense swings at the enemy.

Light Bowgun: This weapon allows for long-range attacks and a barrage of bullets. The bullets differ depending on the bowgun, and picking bullets that are effective against specific monsters will make your attacks even stronger. The Special Skill Wyvernblast Counter fires a powerful bullet that causes a large explosion and can deal great damage to monsters.

Long Sword: This is currently the best weapon in the game, and it suits fast-paced hunters who love flashy attacks. It is a swift weapon that deals significant damage. Upgrading to Grade 2 unlocks the Special Skill Spirit Blade Combo for chaining hits.
