There are currently only a few zoos in the US that have pandas. As of November 2023, the San Diego Zoo in California no longer has pandas. The only zoo in the US that currently has pandas is the Atlanta Zoo in Georgia, which has four giant pandas: Lun Lun, Yang Yang, and their offspring Ya Lun and Xi Lun. However, their loan agreement with China expires in 2024, and it is expected that the younger cubs will be returned to China at the end of that year, with their parents possibly returning as well. The National Zoo in Washington, D.C. also had pandas, but they will be returned to China by the end of 2023. Therefore, as of November 2023, the only zoo in the US that has pandas is the Atlanta Zoo, but this may change in the near future.
