Chandrayaan-3 was launched on July 14, 2023, at 14:35 IST (09:05 UTC) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, India. It was launched aboard the LVM3-M4 rocket and entered lunar orbit on August 5, 2023, before successfully landing near the lunar south pole on August 23, 2023.
