Dan and Phil first met in person at the Manchester Piccadilly railway station near Phil's hometown on October 19, 2009. Before meeting face-to-face, they were friends online for about three years. They began recording YouTube videos together on the very day they met and soon started dating that same year in 2009, nearly 16 years ago from 2025.
