Disney typically starts decorating for Halloween around mid-August, just before the first Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. For 2025, decorations at Disney World are expected to start going up between the first and the second week of August, around the time the Halloween party begins, and they stay until October 31 or November 1.
