The Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster at Universal Studios Florida will permanently close on August 18, 2025. The last day of operation is August 17, 2025, with demolition and replacement by a new experience planned to follow shortly after. More details about the new attraction have not yet been released. This closure marks the end of nearly 16 years of operation since the ride opened in August 2009.
