Pokémon Legends: Z-A is releasing globally on October 16, 2025. The game will be available on both the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2. In many regions, digital copies unlock at midnight local time on this date, but in some US time zones, the game becomes available the night before, on October 15. The game focuses on Mega Evolution mechanics and is set in Kalos, featuring new Mega Pokémon forms and updated gameplay. An enhanced Nintendo Switch 2 edition with improved graphics will also be available. The official release date and times have been confirmed in multiple announcements and previews throughout 2025.
