Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on the Moon on August 23, 2023. The landing occurred at 18:04 IST (Indian Standard Time) near the lunar south pole. This mission marked the first soft landing in the Moon's southern polar region and made India the fourth country to land on the Moon. The mission launched on July 14, 2023, and landed about a month later after entering lunar orbit on August 5, 2023.
