ESPN will be back on Spectrum starting August 21, 2025, with the launch of ESPN's new direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming service. This service brings the full suite of ESPN networks and services to Spectrum TV Select customers, including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SEC Network, ACC Network, ESPN on ABC, ESPN+, and others, at no additional cost for qualifying customers as part of an expanded distribution agreement between Charter Communications (Spectrum) and Disney. This deal restores the Disney-owned channels that were dropped in 2023 after a previous carriage dispute. The new ESPN streaming experience launched to coincide with major live sports events, and Spectrum TV Select customers can access ESPN through this upgraded service starting on August 21, 2025.
