Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) is scheduled to be released on May 26, 2026. The game will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This release date was announced on May 2, 2025, after a delay from the originally expected 2025 release window. Rockstar Games stated that the extra time was needed to achieve the level of quality expected by fans. The game is set in a fictional version of Miami called Vice City and features two main protagonists, Jason and Lucia. It promises to be a highly detailed open-world experience. As of now, there is no confirmed release date for a PC version. GTA 6 was officially announced on February 4, 2022, and the first trailer was released in December 2023, with a second trailer coming out in May 2025.
