You will most likely receive your winter fuel payment automatically between November and December 2025. If you are eligible, you should get a letter from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in October or November stating how much you will receive and which bank account the payment will be made into. If you do not get the payment by the end of January 2026, you should contact the Winter Fuel Payment Centre. Most payments are automatic for those receiving the State Pension or other qualifying benefits.
