Electrons are found in the electron cloud surrounding the nucleus of an atom. This electron cloud represents the regions where electrons are likely to be found, but their exact positions are not fixed. Instead, electrons exist within shells or energy levels around the nucleus, moving in a probabilistic manner rather than fixed orbits. The nucleus, composed of protons and neutrons, is at the center, and the electrons occupy the much larger space outside it, organized in shells that determine their energy and chemical behavior.
