Geno Smith comes from Miramar, Florida. He was born there on October 10, 1990. Smith played high school football at Miramar High School. He then went on to play college football for the West Virginia Mountaineers before being drafted into the NFL. His family originally hails from Bimini in the Bahamas, and he was nicknamed "Geno" after his grandfather, who was called "Big Geno".
