George Russell did not win any Formula 1 races in the year 2020. During the 2020 season, driving primarily for Williams Mercedes, he did not achieve a race victory, with his best performances mostly outside the points or race finishes affected by issues. He did, however, substitute for Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes car at the 2020 Sakhir Grand Prix, where he led the majority of the race but was denied victory due to a team error and a puncture. His first Formula 1 race win came later, starting from 2022 with Mercedes, and not in the 2020 season.
