Marshawn Lynch went to college at the University of California, Berkeley. He played for the California Golden Bears football team from 2004 to 2006. Lynch majored in social welfare while attending Berkeley but did not finish his degree as he left early to enter the NFL Draft. During his college career, he was highly successful, leading the Pac-12 in rushing yards in 2006 and earning the conference's Offensive Player of the Year honors that season.
