Pope Leo XIV attended high school at St. Augustine Seminary High School in Holland, Michigan. This was a Catholic preparatory school run by the Order of St. Augustine, which operated from 1949 until it closed in 1977. He was a member of the class of 1973 and was noted for his academic excellence and leadership roles during his time there
