Pope Leo XIV, born Robert Francis Prevost, attended high school at St. Augustine Seminary High School in Holland, Michigan. This was an Augustinian preparatory school for young men, which operated from 1949 until 1977. He was part of the class of 1973 there as he was discerning the priesthood with the Order of St. Augustine
. Before high school, he attended his neighborhood parish school in Chicago, St. Mary of the Assumption Church, located on the South Side of Chicago
