Sophie Cunningham attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, where she played college basketball for the Missouri Tigers from 2015 to 2019. She earned a bachelor's degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management during her time there. Cunningham was a standout player, becoming the all-time leading scorer for the Missouri women's basketball program and earning multiple accolades.
