Prince William currently lives with his family at Adelaide Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Home Park. However, by Christmas 2025, he, along with Kate Middleton and their children, will move into a new permanent residence called Forest Lodge, located in Windsor Great Park. This eight-bedroom Georgian-style house will be their "forever" home, where they plan to live even after William becomes king. They moved from Kensington Palace in London to Windsor in 2022 to give their children a more normal upbringing and more green space. Forest Lodge is undergoing minor renovations as the family prepares for the move later this year, marking a fresh start after some challenging times at their current residence.
