SpaceX launches rockets from four main facilities in the United States:
- SpaceX Starbase (Boca Chica, Texas) – the company's private launch site and main testing/production location for Starship rocket launches.
- Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) in Florida – a historic launch site used for Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets.
- Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) in Florida – used for Falcon 9 launches.
- Vandenberg Space Force Base Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) in California – used for launches to polar and sun-synchronous orbits.
In addition, SpaceX uses a test facility in McGregor, Texas, primarily for engine testing and stage tests. SpaceX Starbase is especially focused on Starship and Super Heavy rockets, while the Florida and California sites support Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launches for various missions including commercial satellites, space station resupply, and crew missions.
