The Washington Commanders' stadium is called Northwest Stadium. It is located in Landover, Maryland, about 2.5 miles east of Washington, D.C. The stadium was formerly known as Jack Kent Cooke Stadium and then FedExField until 2024, when the naming rights changed. Northwest Stadium currently seats about 64,000 people and serves as the home stadium for the Washington Commanders of the NFL. Plans are underway for a new Commanders stadium to be built on the former site of RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C., with an expected opening around 2030. This new stadium will bring the team back to the District of Columbia after decades in the Maryland suburbs.
