Hilaria Baldwin is originally from Boston, Massachusetts, USA. She was born Hillary Lynn Hayward-Thomas in Boston and raised there as well. Although she has been known to present herself as being from Spain and having a Spanish background, including speaking Spanish and mentioning time spent there, she clarified that she was born and spent a significant part of her childhood in Boston. Her family, however, currently lives in Spain. Her father studied Spanish literature, and the family settled in Mallorca, Spain, in 2011 before she married Alec Baldwin. She spent some of her childhood in Spain and traveled there annually but was primarily raised in a suburb outside Boston.
