Hilary Barry is currently on medical leave and off-air from her role as co- host of Seven Sharp on TVNZ. She is recuperating from a medical procedure and is expected to return to the Seven Sharp show next month. Barry has been with TVNZ since 2016 and co-hosts Seven Sharp alongside Jeremy Wells. In addition, she has recently been hosting a luxury safari holiday tour in Africa as part of her activities outside television presenting.
