Northwest Stadium is located in Landover, Maryland, at 1600 Ring Road, about 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) east of Washington, D.C. It is a multi-purpose stadium and the home stadium of the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL).

The stadium initially opened in 1997 as Jack Kent Cooke Stadium and was known as FedExField from 1999 until 2024. It was briefly renamed Commanders Field in early 2024 before the naming rights were purchased by Northwest Federal Credit Union, giving it the current name, Northwest Stadium.

This stadium is located just outside the nation's capital and is accessible via a special exit (Exit 16) from Interstate 495 (the Capital Beltway). It has several amenities including wheelchair-accessible entrances, parking, and restrooms, and it is a significant venue for NFL games as well as concerts and other events.
