Skid Row is a neighborhood officially known as Central City East, located in Downtown Los Angeles, California. It covers approximately 50 city blocks bordered by Third Street to the north, Seventh Street to the south, Alameda Street to the east, and Main Street to the west. Skid Row is known for having one of the largest stable populations of homeless people in the United States, with estimates of over 4,000 homeless individuals residing there within this small area.
