The Humber Bridge is located in northern England, spanning the Humber Estuary between Barton-upon-Humber on the south bank and Hessle on the north bank. It connects the East Riding of Yorkshire with North Lincolnshire. The bridge is near the city of Kingston upon Hull (Hull), approximately 8 km (5 miles) west of it. It is a suspension bridge with a total length of about 2.22 km (1.38 miles) and was opened in 1981. The structure is a Grade I listed landmark and is known for its significant engineering feat and long single-span design.
