The original "Camp Rock" movie was filmed primarily in Ontario, Canada, at two main summer camp locations: YMCA Camp Wanakita in Haliburton and Kilcoo Camp in Minden. These locations feature beautiful lakes, forests, and camp facilities that served as the perfect backdrop for the movie. Additionally, some scenes were filmed at Hillcrest High School in Midvale, Utah, USA, which was used uncredited for certain school scenes.

For "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam," filming also took place in Ontario, including Rockwood Conservation Area, Kilcoo Camp in Minden Hills, French River, The Kingbridge Centre in King City, and Earl Bales Park in Toronto.

Currently, "Camp Rock 3" is filming in 2025 at Barnet Marine Park in Burnaby, Vancouver, Canada, under the production name "Rock the Boat." The Jonas Brothers have been spotted filming there, and some original cast members like Demi Lovato are involved as well.
